Stiffener to slide inside American or PT Star mast section to limit the mast from breaking.
This kit only contains the parts to attach to a length of tube purchaser is required to get.
You will be required to buy locally a 2.1 metre length of 40mm x 1.6mm round tube (preferably T5, 6062 grade). This would cost less than the delivery for the Complete item. Can be used with either aluminium or carbon. Just make sure mast is protected from the carbon tube otherwise corrosion will happen.
Attach the 4x spacers at each end, and at 700mm and 1400mm using the rivots supplied.
The stiffener is designed to be attached to the mast at the lower hound, and extends up about 700mm and down towards the base of the mast.
